Despite a feeling of being completely overwhelmed in my new Dynamical Systems class I am very excited for my upcoming project. Later this quarter I will be giving a class presentation on the Levitron. I had my topic approved by my professor just this morning. It will also double as my "masters talk" I am required to give before I graduate. Pressures on.
What is a Levitron? Watch this cool video to see what it does. My presentation will be something like this... but with a lot of math garble-de-goo in between to explain the dynamics of why and how this toy works the way it does. The geek in me is very excited!
