I don't read Jasper Fforde books for his great stories, although he does have those. I read him for the fabulous and somewhat random comments he makes inside the stories.

But...seriously? Is an avocado seriously a nut? Because...if so...I love it twice as much.
I questioned that myself so my mother and I looked it up. According to Wikipedia an avocado is a fruit. So no idea where the nut comment came from...
